After a long wait, we're finally ready to welcome you back to the world of Leather & Madness. It’s been a challenging journey, but Chapter 6 is now live! And this time, we’re doing something a little different...

📖 A Chapter Too Big for One Chapter

Originally planned as a single, massive release, Chapter 6 turned out to be much too large to keep you all waiting for even longer. So we’ve decided to split it into two parts. What was once Chapter 6 is now Chapter 6 and Chapter 7, and that means the final stretch of the game has shifted—Chapter 8 will now be the grand finale, barring any further changes. But don’t worry: this release still brings you a huge amount of new content.

🏰 Over a Dozen New Dungeons

In this installment, you’ll be able to explore more than twelve new dungeons, each one intricately connected to the residents of the city you've gotten to know throughout your journey. Every dungeon is steeped in story, atmosphere, and character—and many of them are fully replayable, rewarding exploration and discovery.

Keep an eye on your Journal—it's more important than ever! Hidden paths, unlockable secrets, and bonus scenes are scattered throughout. If you think you’ve seen everything... you probably haven’t.

🎮 UI Improvements and Customization

We've also taken the time to improve your experience beyond just content. The scene customization system now allows you to place characters in different positions right from the customization screen. Even better, the game now remembers your last configuration for each character, so if you change companions on the fly, your preferred layout is just a click away.

🐞 Bugs, Fixes… and New Bugs?

A lot of bugs have been squashed in this version. But I’ll be honest: this time around, I didn’t have help from testers—so it’s quite possible that a few new gremlins snuck in. Please bear with me, and as always, report anything odd you find. I truly appreciate your feedback and patience!

✨ A New Way of Telling Stories

One of the most exciting additions is the dungeon dedicated to Simon. I’ve been eager to try a new approach to storytelling for a while now, and this dungeon gave me the perfect chance. It’s something I hope to expand on in the future. I won’t spoil what’s different—but I do hope it resonates with you. Let me know what you think!

🌞 Summer Event Tease

I’m also planning a small summer event. It might be a short one, but hey—some of our favorite characters deserve a moment in the sun... perhaps in speedos? 😏 I think you’ll enjoy this lighthearted break from the madness.

🖼️ Scenes, Images, and an Expanding World

There’s an enormous number of new scenes and illustrations in this chapter. My hope is that the story will keep pulling you deeper into the portal’s mysteries, and that you’ll feel more connected than ever to the characters and their secrets.
